This pattern is my simple pattern that shows how to knit magic loop socks.

Most of the instructions are the same as in my basic sock pattern – that way you can fully concentrate on learning how to knit using magic loop instead of having to concentrate on a complicated design.

Instructions for my favorite toe shape are included.

You only need some standard sock yarn with a set of 5 double pointed knitting needles (size 2-3 mm).

The heel is a classic heel with a heel flap and gusset.

You can always adjust the length of the leg or add a design to the leg / foot to change things up.

The pattern includes instructions for socks in the sizes 30-47 (EU shoe sizes), but you can also cast on less stitches to make socks for smaller kids.
